Holley pro-jection on 454
 

The 68 camaro i just picked up has a 454 in it, putting out around 450hp.

I'm interested in using a holley pro-jection setup on it.

I can pick up a unit from one of the local importers for a mere $295aud. But there is no computer with it. Somebody has told me that the holley system uses all GM type plugs, and can be run from any ac delco/GM type computer. Is this true? Will the 900cfm unit be big enough to feed the 454?

so no one has any advice on the pro-jection setups????

I see MSD are making billet throttle bodies, am i better off going with one of their systems?

what rpm are you planning to take that 454 up to? 900cfm should work fine. I dont think the GM computer will work quite right to control the fuel injection. I think the newer TB for the pro-jection is a progressive system and has to have the correct computer to work properly but i am no expert so i would look for a 2nd opinion.
