Wheel Fitment Question

Hello All! Sorry for the dumb question but I want to make sure I am right before I waste alot of money. I found some 17" torq thrust wheels that were on a 68 camaro. I want to buy them to put on my 1970 Chevelle Malibu. Will they fit or is there a possibility they will be a different lug pattern? Thanks for your time.

Lug pattern should be the same....unless the rears were for a Ford 9" rear end. I would look into the backspacing/offset though....

As a rule they will fit unless they did not fit the camaro. Do you know the sizes and backspaces?

Thanks for the Advice!

Thanks for the help guys! As for the backspacing I do not know yet, but I will be finding out soon. Is the backspacing between a camaro and a chevelle very different? Thanks everyone!

Sizes

Oh yeah......By the way the sizes are 17x8 & 17x9. Thanks again!

They'll fit no problem because the Chevelle has way more wheelwell. Your only foreseeable issue will be that there's too much room to spare like a spacesaver spare on a truck but you can add some tire height and width to help fill the wheelwells out.
