I had the same question awhile back. I was told to run a stock 12" delco disc/disc set-up from a second gen. with my C5 brakes.

I still haven't decided. I like the looks of the DSE one but was also told the pedal was really touchy. Not really sure but it sure looks better than the stock delco.

A single 11" diaphragm booster has about the same area and hence boost as a dual 8" unit. Both are decent options with a 15/16" to 1" bore master cylinder with the C5/C6 front and LS1 rear calipers. The DSE dual 9" unit should give you approximately 30% more boost and is supplied with a 1" bore MC.

How much vacuum does your engine generate at idle?

I dont know yet on the vacuum amount cause I havent built the engine yet.But its basically a stock 350 vortec with a ZZ4 hot cam and 1.6 roller rockers.
