here's a build thread I started...the car is pretty clean already, I just want to give it a shave and hair cut- Pro-touring style on a light budget- had the exhaust fixed today and put some magnaflows on it. I just picked up an LS2 I really, really want to do another full build on a first gen- your car is a big inspiration- so I will tweak this one and have it up for sale pretty quick to finance another build- have a good weekend- Chris:D |

10" wide wheels and 315 rubber will fit nicely if you nail the b/s and beat in the rear seatbelt mount on the tunnel with a BFH...

An 8" wheel w/255/40 rubber fits with plenty of room to spare,I know Mary Pozzi runs a 275 tire in front,I'm sure a 9" wheel would work if you can find them...or have Jay R build you some.:unibrow:

I wouldn't take any chance of a tire rub with a flip.

Falken 615 Series
Falken makes a 295/40/18 now too! That's what we're using on the back of my 71 Firebird... it's right at 27" tall.
