suspension 68 Gto

I have a 68 gto with a 455 620 hp engine sitting in it.
The suspension is pretty stock except from 2" dropped spindles.
I am looking for the best setup retaining the 2" drop but with tubular controlarms and deleting the 2" dropped spindle.
Please advice best combinations, im open to all brands and price ranges but would like the option of setting the rideheight manually therefore im thinkink adjustable/coilovers.
What would you guys recomend.

Regards Jacob

Thanks Blake. You know we love to install and sell your stuff. We are really excited about the new Speedtech A body set up and plan to install one very soon. I belive you guys have all the bases covered on this kit, and at a great price too.

Jacob, feel free to call us and discuss your project. It is A Body month here at Prodigy Customs with us finishing the Bull Run Racer, and a couple GTOs running through the shop this month.

Give Marc at SC&C a call he is always willing to help. So is Frank at Prodigy Customs. Great customer service from both.

I checked your website for the rear coilover conversion and couldn't find anything. Where can I get some info on this or should I just call?

Blake has some pictures but nothing on the website yet. Your way ahead of the curve on this one.

E Mail Blake [email protected] and get im to send you some pics.

rear upper and lowers, sway bar and the rear QA1 coil over kit. the car runs 20's and 19's the ride is amazing.

That looks really low. Did you have to modify the transmission tunnel? Are the mods bolt in? Will this work in earlier A body cars?

Don

no mods to the tunnel and YES it is all bolt in.

The drive shaft is definatly the limiting factor on these cars. the rear was narrowed 1/2" each side only because the customer wanted the car lower and the original off set of the rim and the inner wheel house was going to cause problems. the car runs a 20x10 with 295 toyo tires. with no mini tub.

Sounds like a really cool project Jacob. Our Total Vehicle System (TVS) will provide the ride height you're looking for an dramatically improved handling. Keep in mind that not all coil-overs are equal. Most of the stuff in the lower end of the coil-over market is street rod type hardware, and won't provide the best combination of handling or ride. The high-end stuff does work pretty well but is expensive. We have a coil-over system coming out soon, but it will be aimed squarely at the people who want maximum handling beyond even what our Bilsteins can provide (and that's a lot).

Our tubular lower A-arms offer adjustable ride height with stackable billet spring shims. That way you can fine-tune your ride height, and once it's set it stays that way. They use a CNC machined billet spring cup that's integrated into the arm and fully tig welded for maximum strength/rigidity. Compare them side-by-side and they stand out as a really solid piece.

Just another option. We're running a sale through the end of the month. Good luck with the project and let us know if you have any questions.
