Rear end clamp for brake lines

This fall/winter I plan on running the brake lines on the car. Since I already have the rear end powder coated, I can't weld on any brackets to hold the brake lines onto it. What are you guys using to secure the brake lines to the rear housing??

You could fabricate a bracket that bolts up to one of the 9" bearing retainer studs.

I was in the same boat. I used a clamp and drilled a hole in my housing for the bottom link. Do yourself a favor and run a short hose. This will make the rotors and axles servicable later. You'll thank me......

I'd grind off the powder coating and weld some brackets on. I did and just touched up with some Por-15 chassis black paint. Not perfect, but heck its under the car. I'd care more about making sure the brake lines are secure.

Stopping >> Perfect undercarriage.

Run hard lines on the frame, stop above caliper, then run braided line to calipers.

We drill the top of the axle tube, tap it for a 10 - 32 and use a small clamp. I put a dab of permetex in the hole when I put the screw in and have no leak issues as there is not a lot of fluid on the top of the axle tube in the middle of the tube.

I was in the same boat. I just ran hard line down the left side of the frame, t'd off with flex line to caliper and hard line across the floor to flex line to caliper on driver side. Nothing on the rear end.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. The funny thing is after I posted this question, I started thinking.....the rear end has a back brace welded on. I could just as easily drill and tap some holes right into the back brace and run it along there. I also like the idea of just running it along the rails and then the floor. I already have the rear together so I don't feel like taking it apart, but I guess if I do decide to run it along the tubes, I will have to take it apart. Thanks again for all the responses.
