Stamping Sheetmetal
 
Hey guys just wondering what different techniques/methods/machines people are using to stamp floor pans, wheel tubs etc. Some peoples work looks awesome. (I stole a couple of pics, hope you dont mind!!!)

You stole those from WAR --- and he said he's using a bead roller....

Not sure if it was WAR or another one ( might have been one of the Austrailian builds going) but they used a wood form and hammered the detail in around the edges. It was a top and bottom plate with the design shaped in them, metal between both plates and just tap away till it gets there. :cheers:

First one is from Best Camaro in the Universe thread. Second is from War's 69 thread.

You can make them with a: Bead roller, stamp die, hammer form, or power hammer with flange die.
