Lowering Springs

I have just put some lowering springs on the front of my 67. It has a big block, not sure if this will help in my question.

But it is still not as low as I would like it, actually I think it's a little higher.

do you know if they tend to "settle", if so, how much driving does it usually take and how much do they tend to "settle"

Or do I cut them now?

Thanks for any info. you may have.

Were your previous springs worn out? New "lowered" springs will often be higher than worn originals.

Most springs settle within the first 5 miles of driving.

If the height seems very off, make sure the spring is properly seated.

Agreed they are almost alway higher just drive it and make sure you put the sprigs in the pocket properly there is a stop where the end of the coil should be sitting next to.
