Lowering Springs
I have just put some lowering springs on the front of my 67. It has a big block, not sure if this will help in my question.
But it is still not as low as I would like it, actually I think it's a little higher. do you know if they tend to "settle", if so, how much driving does it usually take and how much do they tend to "settle" Or do I cut them now? Thanks for any info. you may have. |
Were your previous springs worn out? New "lowered" springs will often be higher than worn originals.
Most springs settle within the first 5 miles of driving. If the height seems very off, make sure the spring is properly seated. |
