reclaimer/vaccum for blasting cabinet

I was wondering what you guys recomm and use for reclaimer/vaccum on your blasting cabinets? On a tight budget but figured maybe someone could help me out here. Brandon

I used the upgraded version from TP Tools -- and also their reclaimer. Works like a charm.

Main thing with these "vacs" is that you want the blast cabinet to stay clear... otherwise you can't see what you're doing.

Personally - I vented mine to the outside for the exhaust side of the vac system -- when it was vented inside - I always felt "dirty" after using it for a bit. You don't want to get a nasty dose of silicosis... so inhaling the ultra fine dust these things make is a no no. Even though we use our home systems pretty lightly - I figure I don't want ANY... :>)

I have a regular craftsman vacuum cleaner on mine. I ran a piece of PVC pipe to my attic and put the vacuum in the attic so it isn't as noisy. It does put dust up there and I have to clean the filter regularly. I works good when it is clean.
