Bolt pattern and back space on a 69

Hey Guys-

There are a lot of threads out there with guides about what wheel/tire combo fits on what but there are a lot of differences depending where you look.

I have a 69 Camaro that will be lowered 2" front and back. Other than that, it is stock. I want to put 18's all around and I'm shopping for wheels today. What is the correct bolt pattern and suggested back space I should go with for front and back? I'm guessing the correct width should be 18X7 up front and 18X8.5 in the back, right? Or could I fit a wider width, too?

Thanks!

Call Jon @ Driverzinc tomorrow. Most people here buy their wheels from him.

1968 Camaro with DSE Quadralink and 335???

I am building a 68 and have the dse deep tubs and Quadralink. Also, a Ford 9 from dse. I bought two 335 BF goodrich and I do not want to send them back. They look a little big. Can anyone help with the back spacing of my wheels and let me know what else we can do to make the 335 x 18 fit

bolt pattern is a 5x4.75. Up front you can run up to a 18x8 with 245/40/18 and ~5.0 BS. On the rear you can either go for a 18x9-18x10 depending on wheel choice and a 275/40/18 tire. BS will depend on the width you decide to go with. In general a 9 will have around a 5.25 and a 10 will be a 5.75. We have lots of packages we can put together for you. Feel free to shoot me a pm, email or call.

Have you installed the DSE parts yet? Install the tubs allowing as much breathing room for the tires as possible and they should fit with 18x12s.

Safer to call me with measurements to make sure a 335 will fit without issue and dial in the BS.

Real close! The BFG KDW2 measures 13.5" wide on a 12" wheel. We like to see a minimum of .75" to the inside and 3/8" to the outside for clearance. You are right there. Backspace needs to be spot on! Feel free to call me and I can help you figure out the BS.
