9" outer bearing binding issue
 

Everything is brand new, although when I try to snug down the drivers side brake bracket, the outer bearing seizes and will not allow for any more movement.

Any thoughts?

The right side works just fine, no binding issue at all.

Bigger hammer? :D

Wish I could help Eric. Maybe contact the brake kit mfgr, see if anyone else has had similar issues?

Well, turns out that the shaft was too long.

I called the rear-end guys and they told me to cut 1/8th to 1/4" off the end.

Seems to have done the trick. I used my chop saw and a grinder.

Nothing major and it went in just fine :)
