Running a rubber fuel line the length of the car like they did in the install video bothers me.

I've got one coming:thumbsup: From what i understand the rubber hose is required due to what is called "hammering" if you used a steel line. I think this is caused by the fuel pump being "pulsed in rapid succession". They are marketing this as a returnless system. I am going to run steel lines and use a return system back to the tank just so i dont have to run the rubber hose. Rubber hose full length of the car doesn't do it for me :(

Mark - For a old school 355 that's around 400 hp with cast iron 2.02 heads what's the appropriate Accel system?

At some point the plan (economy dependant) is AFR or equivalent heads. If that doesn't provide enough grunt I'll make it a 383.

Thanks

An Accel Thruster, #77010W. Here's the beauty of something like this and the point I was trying to make on that post.
For about $400.00-$500.00 more you get a whole lot more tuneability. And although the Thruster will do a lot, you can upgrade to a Gen 7 for the ultimate in tunability for another $400.00. It'll run anything from a 200hp TBI to a 2000hp turboed whatever. There are better systems out there for the money than that MSD. I understand it fills a niche, but for what you get it's not as good of a deal as others out there.
Jmo.

Thanks

Save your money - I've got a freshly re-done set of 190 cc AFR heads on the shelf with your name on 'em.... :D
