I used the stock Camaro 6 cylinder pedal. The Lokar cable is cut to fit.

I just installed a lokar cable on my 79 and I did not have to cut it. I think it was a 36in cable. But not sure if you will need a different lenght for a first gen or not? I also used my stock pedal and will be installing the MODO covers.

I dug up the part number of the lokar cable that I used. Its a TC-1000LS1. It is a 36in cable. I would look on amazon if you dont have one yet, that is the cheapest place that I found it and with free shipping.

I used the 36 inch lokar cable, stock 69 pedal, and had to trim the housing and cable....but it was very easy and could probably be left alone, I was just a little anal about it.
