Question for Recovery Room

Getting ready to start the interior and have a question for you.
What do they use for the chrome strip? Is is 3m self adhesive D strip or something else. How do they finish off the ends?
Thank you for your help.

Tracy probably has some other options, but here is one. It is solid material and can be finished on the ends however you prefer.

That's more like it. How is it attached? Glue?

I think they generally drill some small holes in the back of the strip, not all the way through and use real small screws like #4 to attach.

Sorry for being late to the party.. Yes thats the stuff to use, Ill get Claytons trim sticks all the time. There a soft aluminum so you can shape them and sand the ends anyway you want. I have a jig set up to drill the backside with a very small bit 5/64 then run a very small screw into to hold on. I have even cut them in half to make it 1/8 wide for really detailed trim work. Sand smooth and polish
