315 clearance?

Will a 315 on a 18x11 wheel fit on a 69 camaro without notching
the rear frame rail? anybody have pics?
Tried searching but you know how that goes.

Thanks
John

I've gotten up to a 325 in by custom mini-tubbing, not touching frame rail, and leaving the leaf springs in the stock location. Back spacing on a 10.5 wide wheel is 6.5 but 6.75 will work especially with a 315 which is what I run now. Clearancing at quarter panel lip required. Pic is with the 325.

Track Junky,
Thanks for the reply. Also forgot to mention I will be running a SpeedTech T/A
setup. So are you saying I could just install some Dynacorn tubs and be all set?
Thanks for the pics. can't really tell how close the tire is to the frame rail though with that
leaf spring. How much clearance would you say you have?

Thanks again
John

Not sure what the dynacorn tub requires. I (my fabricator) cut the stock inner tub out and moved it over and added a 1 9/16" strip of sheetmetal in between. Thats about a 1/2" clearance to the leaf spring. I dont recommend doing this without adding a watts link if you are running low enough to be over the tire with quarter panel. Here are pics with the 315's. You can see how low I am in the rear and running hard in the corners causes the rear diff to shift side to side without a watts link in turn hitting the quarter panels.

He has 3/4" to 1" in spots.

you should be good with the Speed tech T/A panhard bar.

Pics with the 315's and Fays 2 watts link. Probably 7/8" clearance with 315's to leaf spring.
