New guy intro

Hey guys… I have a 1969 Camaro that I have had for 30 years. For 25 years it was bone stock. About five years ago I started doing some modifications. Rebuilt the engine (added some extra HP), new 17” wheels and tires, better brakes. Then I ran across the Pozzi Racing website and read about improving handling on the Gen 1’s and saw some videos of “The Bad Penny” Camaro. The next year I went to the SEMA show in Vegas for some business stuff. That was the first time I saw some really incredible Gen 1’s set up with modern suspension, brakes, and engines.

From then on I knew what I wanted to do with my car. Now 5 years later I have upgraded the chassis, brakes, steering, and engine, with modern components. Now the car drives like a new car, and handles great. 4 years ago I joined a local sports car club so I could learn how to drive, and get the car out on the track to see what it could do. Now I am hooked... I get out on the track a few times a year. It’s been a lot of fun… a great hobby.

I joined LS1 Tech this past May and did an engine build project. There was a guy on there that pointed me here. I thought I might post up my build project on your "Project Update" page at some point. Anyway… I look forward to joining the Lat-G community, looks like the place for me!

Nutter Racing Engines built my engine complete... including all the parts for the front drive (alternator mt., PS mt. and dry sump pump mt.). The mounts are CNC billet parts and are very sturdy and well designed. They do a lot of stuff for LS engines.
