275-35-18 Toyo's up front

Is it possible to fit 275-35-18 up front on a 8.5" 69 Camaro with a stock sub frame. I will be running 335-30-18 RA-1's in the rear. I do not mind some rubbing. Also, what bs would help squeezing the monsters under the fender. I am in the middle of ordering HRE 840 R's, so it is crucial I get it right. Thanks Cory

I just spoke to my HRE wheel guy, and he said a 18x9 would fit my car. Anyone know this to be true?? By the way I am running Speed Tech upper and lowers with QA1 12 ways. Rear is mini-tubbed with 3" DSE springs. I am looking for a stance like SW's black 69.

yes

you need at least a 9 to run most 275/35/18, i am going to run a 9.5 up front, however this size will not work on most set-ups and very few run this sizze on a stock sub, what are you using for control arms etc?? look up carlc he will help you.

Jake, I am running Speed Tech upper and lowers with QA1 12 ways, and DSE steering box. What bs for a 18x9?? I will try to contact carlc. Thanks for the info. Cory

probaly 5.25 bs, but i am not going to be the one to verify that, i am 95% sure carlc is running 17x9.5 with 5.5 on all 4 corners of his 68 camaro,

I thought that the 67-68 fenders had a little more room in them because they were "boxier" or something. I'd def. talk to carlc.

before you ever purchase wheels you should make a small investment in a device that will verify your bigest wheel size

here is the link for company that sell just what you need
