Anvil inner fenders?
I am looking to swap my stock sub up with the DSE hydrafrom sub and was considering swapping to the Anvil inners at the same time. Just wanted to see if they solve the clearance issue of rubbing on the outside edge of the inners. I know that they are supposed to be wider and taller than stock, is the clearance enough though? I am going to run a 275/35/18 in the front with 6.125" BS on a 9" rim. My current setup running a 245/40/18 with 5" BS on a 8" rim and barely rubs the inner fender on the outside edge as it curves up. If Anvil is not the way to go looking for recommendations. Is it worth modifying the original steel inners instead? Thanks for the help.

Great choice in parts BTW :thumbsup |
Hey Ron thanks for the input, waiting for some more photos of your car! What I am referring specifically to is with the stock inners they curve up very gradually form the outside where they bolt to the fender, I am looking for more clearance from the inner fender "gradual" curve. That is where the clearance is needed about 2" in from the outside fender itself. Thanks again

I hear you. That's where my 1/4" comes from above. Factory inners go up and in along the lip, Anvil's go down directly to the lip. Hope that helps!

Hey Evan, if you want to get the most amount of clearance out of your fenders, you'll want to roll the inside of the fender lip straight up. In my case I rolled the inside of the fender lip and just cut off the section of the inner fender between 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock. Does that make sense? You might have to see it to understand how I did it.

Matt and Ron thanks for the input, makes sense I was looking at yours last weekend Matt and I think that is the route that I am going to take. I will cut the edge between the 3 and 9 to increase the clearance. I will just have to make sure that no wires or hoses are in the vicinity for the tire clearance. Thanks again for the input.
