Just got 67 camaro RS I love it!!!

Hello all I was referred to this site from a family member. He is a member on this site(problmhouston) he is the reason I got in to classic muscle cars. I just bought a 67 camaro RS with a 327 V8 and a turbo 350 trans. It is a drivers car so it is not to updated. It has the original motor. I'll post pics ASAP. I can't wait to ck out all the cool builds on here and learn sone stuff.

Welcome to the site! I just got back from passing through the northern portion of NM. You've got some fantastic roads to go touring on with the car. Good luck!

Thanks for the welcome guys, ya NM is a beautiful state and once I get the car in a little better shape I will feel more comfortable taking it on trips.

Good to see you posting. Now get back in the garage and work on that grill.

I am hoping the members here will convince him to drop an LS motor in it.

Haha Rick don't be trying to get people on your side. With the car still having the original motor I will rebuild it and get more power that way. FOR NOW!!!

Welcome

Looks like you got a good platform to start with! Work on fundamental reliability/safety areas for now - wheel bearings, brakes, u-joints, charging/lighting, steering, shocks, springs, etc. LS motors are like breast implants, some like em natural. :D

Hahaha thanks, I think I'll stay natural for now but you never know if you want a newer younger model(engine). That is what I was thinking just make it as safe as I can and drive it like I stole it.

Which is why I'm an a$$ man! Hahaha!!!

Keep the classic looks but modernize the drive train and suspension.

Whatever you end up doing we are going to have a ball going back and forth. The classic Mustang (me) vs Camaro (you).
