Welcome to the site! I just got back from passing through the northern portion of NM. You've got some fantastic roads to go touring on with the car. Good luck!

Good to see you posting. Now get back in the garage and work on that grill.

I am hoping the members here will convince him to drop an LS motor in it.

Haha Rick don't be trying to get people on your side. With the car still having the original motor I will rebuild it and get more power that way. FOR NOW!!!

Welcome

Looks like you got a good platform to start with! Work on fundamental reliability/safety areas for now - wheel bearings, brakes, u-joints, charging/lighting, steering, shocks, springs, etc. LS motors are like breast implants, some like em natural.

Hahaha thanks, I think I'll stay natural for now but you never know if you want a newer younger model(engine). That is what I was thinking just make it as safe as I can and drive it like I stole it.

Which is why I'm an a$$ man! Hahaha!!!

Keep the classic looks but modernize the drive train and suspension.

Whatever you end up doing we are going to have a ball going back and forth. The classic Mustang (me) vs Camaro (you).
