T56 mid shifter?

I could have sworn I saw a Mid shifter setup for a T56. Could some let me know if i was dreaming or if there is such a thing. I did a google search without any results for a T56 but I did find mid shifter kits for the TKO.

Thanks
Mike

t-56's only have one shifter location,on the tailshaft.

Well that sucks. I guess it was the TKO that had the mid shifter option. Im going to be moving the engine back a good 8" in my 66 nova and the shifter will be to far back to be easy to use.

I understand McLeod has a mid-position shifter that (IIRC) requires replacement (or modification) of the internal shift rail.

you can move the shifter to the mid location. It takes seme work but we have done it many times

The McLeod shifter can mount there.. in that location there is a modification required and it's explained in the McLeod litt..
