Shock Angle

I am using Strange double adjustables on the rear of my 72 Nova
traction bars up against the stops and multi leaf springs it hooks up really well .
my question is will I gain any improvement by running the shocks in a vertical position as opposed to the 78* they are at now, I installed a camaro type rear shock mounting bar behind the axle and the shocks lined up perfectly with the lower mount points on my Ford 9".
Thanks

This isn't anything that the adjustability of the shocks shouldn't be able to handle. As you tip a shock out of "vertical" you do lose some performance but 12* isn't enough to degrade performance to the point that you can't adjust them to compensate. If it works now, don't "fix" it...
