The first post he's missing the [/ on the right hand youtube. The two in your post have " inside the brackets which won't work. It works as below as you said when you remove the " out of the code.

I know. I was trying to show him how it worked but I couldn't use the code tags because THEY don't work. So I was forced to use the quotes.

Why don't the code tags work? They should ignore any code inside them so that you can show the proper code to others without the code actually working like above.

Maybe it's a setting? Maybe the [YOUTUBE] tags need to be added somewhere so that it ignores them as well
