454 lsx w/ twin 72mm. Which FI to use?
Working on a project that is going to be powered by a 427 or 454 lsx motor and twin 72mm nre turbos. Transmission is going to be 4L80E built for the power level. I am interested in what injection setup you all would recommend. We aren't looking for all out power numbers, more interested in driveability/reliability.
Both the engine and trans will need to be controlled. Have looked into bigstuff 3, fast, holley, would a factory computer handle this ? Thanks for any info |
I wouldn't recommend the FAST or BS3 because of their minimal transient fueling tables. The more available transient tables the more potential for the best drivability.

I would go with the Holley Dominator system because it will also handle the programming of the 4L80E.

I'm going similar setup (TT 427 LSX) and I'm planning to run the Holley Dominator. As stated it can control the transmission and is very user friendly. Lots of options and very affordable.

we suggest the holley kits to our customers running big hp and when they want to run aftermarket computer setups! Good luck with your build sounds like it will make some killer power:confused18:

We've run the Holley in lots of turbo LS setups and love it. The software interface is very easy to learn/use vs. a FAST XFI etc.
My Chevelle is getting the Dominator setup. |
Looks like Holley Dominator it is. We looked at the HP, but it won't control the transmission. I like to keep the amount of things I have to mount under the dash to a minimum to keep it clean and easy to work on. Thanks for the recommendations. I will keep everyone updated as this build progresses. Most everything is ordered, now we are playing the waiting game.

How's it going with the dominator?
