Wheel offsets on new Z28??....
I know from the rags, they are 19x11 and 19x11.5 but does anyone happen to know the offsets/backspacings? I'm thinking they would look pretty nice on my daily....

Thanks!
I could work with the 5x120 but I will have to do a little calc on that backspace and the 11.5 width... may be a little too aggressive. And I'm assuming the wheels are even available yet from GM... Jeff- |
Jeff the wheels are available but you have to give your Z28 vin number to buy them from GM at this point. Wouldn't be too hard to get though, there's a couple of sets for sale on Camaro5 forum already.
I just got a set of them and mounted some Michelin's for a street set for my Z. I had that same thought to see if I could bolt them on my 70 Camaro. I will measure the backspace on the front wheels today but the other day I did a quick measure and thought they were in the 6 1/2" range. The center hole in the back of the wheel is too small to fit the hub on my DSE spindles too, and I hadn't even checked the bolt circle :D |
Ouch... there's no way a 6.5 backspace on an 11" wheel is going to fit the front of my Vagon...:snapout: unless I'm going for the skateboard look... or taking it to RS for one of their mega flare jobs.

If you jump on Camaro5.com Needforspeed is making a knock off set in 20 x 10 and 20 x 11 with zl1 / 1le back spacing. If you jump in know there just shy of $1300 shipped.

Thanks for the info Marty!
Don't really want to make the jump to 20s though. Not a fan of super short sidewalls on our crappy streets. I did pass the info along to the Caddy forum though cuz some of those guys seemed interested.... and that wheel style is killer. Jeff- |
