Thanks David , how about the slave cylinder

I ran the rxt 3-4k with some road racing, autocrosses, drag mixed in. It was a strong clutch. A little aggressive for the street but manageable. For a dedicated street car, I'd opt for the rst or Dave's recommendation.

I've been loving the McLeod twin discs in anything from 600hp to 1200hp cars.

If you don't plan to drag launch your car on slicks often the RST should drive great with light pedal pressure and non grabby release.

Did you ever figure out which slave cylinder you needed to run with a twin disk setup? I'm looking at either the McLeod RST or the Monster LT1-S but I can't figure out whether the slave with Silver Sports hydraulics will work or the Hydramax setup from American Powertrain. I've called 3 times to AP and left messages and I know with the holidays their schedule is "off" but I'm thinking I may look for other options. Hopefully SST can help me figure out if their hydraulic setup with work with either of these tomorrow as I think I'm going to take advantage of their Group Buy package.

What transmission do you have?

If you have a LS engine and a T56 the Monster LT1-S uses a stock f-body slave.

Mantic Dual Disc is IMO the best on the market

I ordered a T56 Magnum kit from Silver Sport Transmission to run with my LS3. I had originally thought I was going to run the Hydamax hydraulic setup, but after numerous failed attempts to get anyone to answer or even return a phone call I dropped that idea. So in talking over with SST, they also had the McLeod RST clutch and said it would work with their hydraulics so i gave him more of my business. :G-Dub: Jeff Kauffman has been great to work with in trying to sort my questions, so hopefully I'll have everything here shortly! Motor arrived this week and now just waiting on other things. thanks

Hmmm, I don't think I saw any of their dual disk options during my search. I was leaning towards the Monster Lt1-s as I found a lot of support through researching numerous forums, and they were having a sale going on as well. In the end I got the McLeod added to my kit from SST and with the discount was comparable to the Monster sale price. It's been a tried and true setup so I figured I couldn't go wrong. We'll see how long it holds up and then I always have a couple more options for the next one!
