GM Clutch Actuators
Gents,
I'm going to measure to determine if a LS7 clutch actuator GM 24237634will work on my set-up, but I need to know the height (Base to bearing surface) as well as the compressed height. Does someone have one laying around they can measure one for me? Thanks, |
I have one can't get measurements at this time. Here a thread on the corvette forum that shows the compressed and extended lengths.

Posted for reference
24264182 - 98-02 LS1 F Body Slave Cylinder Extended 3.470" Compressed 2.890" approximately Supposedly the Shelby GT500 unit has more travel in it, or a shorter compressed height. There are a handful of guys running them with T56s and Centerforce Dyads. |

Just wanted to add this information here. Randy Johnson at D&Z turned me onto this through his conversations with centerforce.
05-10 mustang GT oem number 4R33-7A508-AA or Sachs number SB60225 Extended 4.000" Compressed 2.550" That's another .340" of compression over the stock F body CSC. My setup is LS, Dyad, stock 98-02 bell and a t56 magnum. I only had .160" of travel left. This will give me a full .500" and should be plenty for the dual disc. This will be a little different on plumbing and there is not a bleeder port, I'll update when I get that all figured out. |
