Lateral-G Car Feature: Joe Haniszewski’s “SiniSSter” 1966 Chevelle

The 1966 Chevelle was, to date, the best Chevelle that Chevrolet had ever produced. After the success of the Z-16 option for 1965, the 1966 Chevelle Super Sports received the 396 cubic-inch power plant. These SS Chevelles terrorized and pummeled everything that lined up next to them, even for years to come.

I was pretty close to building it with an LS, but in the initial stages my dad said, why not keep it traditional with the 396.

Thank you. Not bad for myself, some friends and family to do it in 1.5 years in 1 or 2 car garage. About 650 miles on it and working out the bugs. Getting them all worked out so it can hit the course.
