Backyard gas vent filter
Needed to vent tank and this is how I did it.
Carbon filter material Some activated carbon from local pet shop Co2 cilynder Micro filter 2x 1/4" bungs Aluminum tubing ( placed some carbon mesh inside ) to prevent clogs Line going to tank is isolated from loose carbon. Access on top to replace carbon if needed Will put a safety valve on the line http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...pscewmpart.jpg http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...psjnhcsaip.jpg http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...psdh3jm6fx.jpg http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...pskb2bazjk.jpg |
Very cool. I was going to build myself a couple. Did you cut the C02 tank in two pieces and weld it back together?
|
Yes it got cut and shortened by 4"
|
Well that beats my solution which was to give the vent line a couple of loops and then zip tying some pantyhose on the end.

It's now official it works . It's been in and out of garage ( 3/4 full tank ) with close to 100 dg temps and not a hint of fumes in garage. |
