DSE subframe spring rate

My DSE frame was originally ordered for a BBC and was shipped with 525lb springs. I have switched plans and am going to install a wet sump LS7. I noticed on the DSE site that the current specs are 550 for SBC/LS and 650 for BBC. Is the spring rate increased due to some other change in the frame or shocks? Will the springs I have be acceptable with the ls?

My DSE sub came with 8" 450s for Ls but with super charger and heat exchanger Etc .. It's no Bueno . So I called and they recommended 650s. Give them a call they great to deal with .

Resurfacing an old post. How did the 650pound springs work for you. I am running an LSA in my dse frame and the current springs are maxed out on height. I need to raise my front end am inch with some new springs.
