TKO in 1st gen camaro (hole size)
 

What size shifter hole you guys cut for a TKO in your 1st gen Camaro ?? I have a new 1 piece floor installed and wanted to make a clean round hole. Just not sure what size. Thx

Here's my install - TKO600, I haven't bolted the trans mount yet thus why it is not centered. I used a 4" metal holesaw.

You can probably get away with a slightly smaller hole in the tunnel than Greg's pics but this is one of those things where you don't need to be too precise. Just need the clearance Clarence.

Thx for the reply. I was curious what other guys did. I could even just cut out the exact size of the shifter plate (for lack of better description). Its almost a rectangular shape.
