How long might Wilwood Rear rotors last...
On a 3,500 lb car that will see 3-4 track events per year at VIR and a few autocross events? Prior owner installed these but it may be cheaper to convert to C5/C6 rear brakes since the cost per rotor is about $175 less than Willwoods.

Which Wildwood rotors? What diameter? What pads? What are the front brakes? Do you have a properly adjusted proportioning valve? Brakes need to function as a complete system. IMHO seems rear rotor wear should be one of the last issues to plague a brake system.

Fronts are Willwood but I"m going to replace those with the Kore3 14" C6 kit. |

I've got two years on a set of 11" rear rotors on my car, 15 track events. Replaced the fronts once already and turned the rears when I replaced the fronts. But your mileage will definitely vary. |

I know this is an older thread but I had custom rotors made for less than the stock Wilwood GT rotors.

What was the cost per rotor at Coleman Steve? I know prices change all the time but just curious.

It has been about 8 years since I assembled the brake system but as I recall the closest spec Willwood GT rotor I needed was just a little over $200ea and would still have required some additional machine work to fit my Moser floater rear end hubs. The Coleman custom rotors were around $120ea as I recall and I was able to spec them exactly as I needed them.
