Iphone to car speakers
I don't want to run a conventional radio, gauges will occupy that spot for better legroom.
Is there a Bluetooth driver that will receive the Bluetooth signal from the phone and send to conventionally wired speakers? I am aware of Bluetooth speakers, have one in my shop don't want that in the car. I want a conventional 6x9 dual mount in the package tray. It would also be cleaner to power a driver under the dash and regular speaker wires to the rear without the need for power in the rear. And, it must pair automatically to the phone I set it up with, my shop speaker has to be manually repaired every time I go out of range. Pre-pairing a couple phones would be a bonus feature. |
I’ve used this JL audio receiver for my Camaro. Went this was as here (Oz) we can’t use the phone while driving. Figured with the buttons I can hook it up & control as I want.
https://www.jlaudio.com/products/mbt...receiver-91369 They do have this option without the buttons in a smaller size. Mine is just paired to the amp under the parcel shelf then to the 4 speakers. https://www.jlaudio.com.au/product/m...ooth-receiver/ Dunno if anything like this is something like you’re after. |

I like the second one, use it to run and amp like this? https://www.crutchfield.com/p_110JA2B/Jensen-JA2B.html the first one has small buttons, I would hide it where the ashtray is, I think to would be hard to access, negating the advantage of the buttons. |

I agree, I prefer the smaller option but to make it street legal I went the other way. Good luck with it! |
Bluetooth speaker..
Not sure how important 4 way sound ect are to you ..
But far simplest solution is a nice blue tooth speaker portable 0 install and sound quality is more than enough for me.. https://www.amazon.com/JBL-Boombox-B...0-5ec63b24bcb5 Far less expensive options also available |

I put one of these in my trunk next to my amp.
Works fine. https://www.jlaudio.com/products/mbt...receiver-91126 This small amp runs all the speakers in my car. Nothing fancy, just tunes for the rare occasion, normally, I prefer to listen to the engine sound. https://www.jlaudio.com/products/xd6...plifiers-98605 |
I've run one of the JLAudio MBT units also, easy to operate and sounded great.
The way mine was wired, you did have to turn it on each time but it paired on it's own. Look in the marine and off-road utv listings, lots of brands and options for bluetooth receivers. Jeff- |
I did a bench test last week and was happy so I installed a Bluetooth amp and my rear 6x9 speakers.
1 amp, 2 speakers and some wire was all I needed. No seperate Bluetoogh adaptor. The Pyle amp pairs to my phone automatically in a few seconds. It wasn't very loud until I adjusted the Bluetooth settings in the phone from earphone to speaker. I am working on a way to hold the phone without drilling holes in my dash or bezel. |
