front leaf spring clipnuts keep stripping!

I am in proccess of redoing my rear suspension
new rear etc.
the clipnuts i got from ground up strip out at 20 ftlbs?
these are for the leaf spring which mount the front of the leaf spring to the body.
anyone know where I can get a set of quality clipnuts that have the actual nut in them like the originals i took out?

I'm not in the market, so I wouldn't know where to find the correct ones.

Have you given any thought to ginding the top of the clip flat, then welding nuts to the clips you have?

Clipnuts

Check Ebay. I have seen GM ones on Ebay many times. I come across them when I am searching camaro parts.

The "good" clip nuts will say "CIP" on them.
Here is the thread on it:

Team Camaro forum members have found the same problem you stated, the nuts strip out before coming up to torque.

Call the vendor and let them know you had trouble with their parts, it's a safety issue and they should do a recall on in my opinion.

no these are different and you have to modify the holes the clipnuts fit in.
its a done deal and i was able to torque to 50 ftlbs with out stripping the threads.
the OEM nuts specify 30 ftlbs.
these clipnuts i found at ace hardware will take 60 ftlbs.
heres a pic of the installed rear
