So far it looks like I can save 20 lbs right of the nose of the car with an aluminum bumper and braces. I bought the bumper off E-bay. It fits OK but the shape it dead on. I think some Chinese compainy just change the material from steel to aluminum. It is the same gauge as a repo steel one. I'm making a fake endura bumper out of it. Hope it works out.
