The way I set my fuel system up, the regulator is mounted right in front of the tank. The supply line from the tank is -8, the return line is -8, the fuel line out of the regulator is -8 as well. From there is runs to the Trickflow 10 micron filter that has the built -8 fittings. Directly connected to the output of the filter, I used a -8 to -6 reducer coupling and the fuel pressure take off fitting is connected to that. From there, it's -6 line to the fuel rail.
