I know what you mean Tracy. The spray systems are the only way to go in a shop (production) and some of those are very hard core. We used some Lockweld products for doing laminate countertops and it has some serious stick to it!
The products will break/tear long before the glue will let go. Back in the good old days before the EPA got involved the glues were even better. But for the small project, home job or little repair the spray cans work great.
