Well my research, along with some consulting with Dave Pozzi, said a rear bar would be beneficial. It seems you 4 linked boys are usually better are off without a bar than us poor leaf springers. At least that's what I could find.

Yeah, you're prolly right on the cam... but it's just too big and fun for now, and I gotta stop the bleeding on this project somewhere. I think I've decided to run this motor for 2011 and aim to swap to LSx next winter. Whoa.. did I just say that?

Nice stuff Dave! Glad to see you're having some fun with this car!
The budget is going down the toilet that's for sure Greg.

Yep, I love it and I hate it. That's why I originally bought this car -- so I didn't have to take it apart and do what I am doing now. But I guess that's what my entry in RTTC "forced" me into.

Yep, shooting for 2 weeks from now to be back on the road. 3 weeks tops. Yeah just the trans and motor reinstall now, then some minor things like mount my fire extinguisher, GoPro cam, and some roll cage padding.

Any idea who made the front suspension bars in this pick:

Did they go back on?
Thanks, and yes they will be going back on. Might be my favorite pieces of the car! Performance Dyno Tuning fabbed them up for the previous owner - they are in Oakdale, CA.

I am having a blast working on the car even with my lowly skill level. It's been almost 20 years since I really worked on cars so it's a lot of reward. Yeah I think we might try to do the local Marina autoX if possible before coming down -- at a minimum some very spirited street driving.

I really love the look of your car it has a nasty street fighter look to it. It was nice to check it out in person last week.
Thanks Luke!
