The Go Pro HD produces good audio. It comes with a separate open back cover for the case which would work well in the interior of a car. The majority of my experience is with street, track, and off-road motorcycles.

Go Pro also just released an lcd that attach's to the camera back and the $79 kit includes the two style of case doors. http://gopro.com/hd-hero-accessories/lcd-bacpac

I set up my close friend and KTM dealer as a GoPro dealer in Oct/Nov and we've been very pleased with them as have our customers. Dollar for dollar those little cameras are pretty hard to beat.

Back to the car........Congratulations! Nice ride!
I'm gonna try the tape on the camera trick tmrw and see if that cures the clicking. Thanks for the tip.

Have you tried out that LCD "BacPac" add-on yet? That thing looks pretty cool and I might get one if there's positive feedback on it.
