The non-HD GoPro's had audio issues, I tried three and wasn't pleased. The clicking may be a lose front lcd display cover or the contact point between the camera shutter button and the case shutter button. Try a small piece of tape on them and see if that helps.

The Go Pro HD produces good audio. It comes with a separate open back cover for the case which would work well in the interior of a car. The majority of my experience is with street, track, and off-road motorcycles.

Go Pro also just released an lcd that attach's to the camera back and the $79 kit includes the two style of case doors. http://gopro.com/hd-hero-accessories/lcd-bacpac

I set up my close friend and KTM dealer as a GoPro dealer in Oct/Nov and we've been very pleased with them as have our customers. Dollar for dollar those little cameras are pretty hard to beat.

Back to the car........Congratulations! Nice ride!

Its great to see you out having fun with your car
i must admit I am jealous of you getting to see one lap, and the Pozzi's rides.
I live four hours from James, and have never seen his car.

Thumbs up

Very cool Dave. Glad to see you got your feet wet. (Pardon the pun.) Cool videos. I take it, the car did good then!

One of the worst names in the history of pro touring.

Thanks man, yeah we spent quite awhile pouring over that car and Mary's... Deanna's is super nice too and will be killer when the interior is done.

Haha thanks. Yeah our goal was to keep everything together and stretch the legs a bit. No leaks and things held up. So far so good. I was happy how I improved but all those lil Datsuns and Civics whooped me.

And there's Todd chiming in! There is my queue to give a little background on the name since most probably don't get it. Thanks for the lead-in buddy!

So, Badmotorfinger is my favorite album from my all-time favorite band, Soundgarden. I'm a grunge rock guy -- what can I say. I have always loved the word -- just something about it. And here's the history on it from the band:

The Badmotorfinger logo consists of a jagged, cyclone-like design. In the center of the logo is a triangle containing a spark plug. Guitarist Kim Thayil suggested the title Badmotorfinger as a joke on the Montrose song "Bad Motor Scooter". Regarding the title, Thayil said, "It was sort of off the top of my head. I simply like it because it was colorful. It was kinda aggressive, too...It conjures up a lot of different kinds of images. We like the ambiguity in it, the way it sounded and the way it looked."

So, there you have it. Love it or hate it. But it does mean something to me.
