yep, from the reverse side, got the fronts on but couldn't get the backs on. Messed up the lips and spokes. Tires are Michelin pilot sports 345/30/19's and 275/35/18's. The whole package is on the way to Forgeline for repair and install. Forgeline said they don't normally put this style of tires (runflats) on their rims??
I let them know if it's not a good fit just send the tires back and I'll just purchase a different recommended set through them to be installed. Just want to get it taken care of so I can get them on the car. Forgeline has been really good to work. We're all just a little confused as to what the issue is? I've been told by several installers these types of wheels are a bit difficult to fit tires on being such a snug fit to the barrels. The company involved does alot of the Rushforth installs here and they believe it may be the powder coated barrels which are coated inside and out??? That would be hard to believe but who knows. For now on I'm just going to leave it to the professionals, the wheel manufacturers and just buy my tires through them and have them installed before being shipped.
