A small sandblaster isn't a bad investment. Do you have enough air to run one is another question? A guy where I used to work had a very small pistol grip style with a hopper on top. Try searching spotblaster, that might be the trade name.

The pot style are cfm consuming beasts and when I borrowed one 2 decades ago is what prompted me to buy my 6.5hp/60gal upright. It has served me pretty well but there are far more impressive compressors out there... albeit they are 4 times the investment and up.

I wanted to ask what primer you are using. I was recommended Dupont dp90 tonight and I don't know anything about primers/paints to speak of.
