So what the heck -- they add 4 feet to the height -- and not only do I get to haul two cars if I want -- I get the added bonus of an "attic" in the garage area --- AND dig this! I can now STAND UP in the bedroom area (the gooseneck space just got 4' taller)!! Brilliant.... I can walk around in the bedroom instead of crawling on my hands and knees. Sometimes Charley can really be a blessing in disguise... He's laughing about how he "loves to spend my money"... but in this case - it worked out killer.
When you think about this - it's like building a two story house instead of a rambler.... I get lots more space - without any more length... and the truck has plenty of umpf to haul it.  |
