Are you at the bottom, middle or end of the curve at your shift points. Look at it as a "system".
For the track -- I don't think there's any question about using the 3:50's... You probably don't need the 190+ top speed of the 3:08's unless you're running Nurburgring...

I do believe the Torque curve is somewhere in the Mid RPM, but I will double check that with my builder for sure..
