I have a 18 X 11 mocked up on the front with a PSII 315/30R18. It fits OK but it needs more backspacing than I like to maintain turning radius. I'm concerned with too much tire rubbing. All my previous projects has a lot of tire rubbing and the steel parts just lost their paint. This CF parts will most likely wear away. My plan is to add steering stops and try the 18 X 11 with 7 inch back spacing. The problem is the AutoXs with the 180 degree turns. Also with AutoX like Holley Fest where there is a big bump in a very sharp turn could junk a fender. The steel parts could take a lot of abuse. Unsure on this CF stuff durability. I really like the parts and think I can make it all work.

I was a little concerned about that. I've run 6.5" backspacing before and it was no fun on the street, or a tight autocross. The 6.5" backspacing caused wear against the carbon inner fenders, and was severe enough to distort the weave from heat. Every time I had to make a U turn the wheels would scrape against the control arms. I put rack limiters in, but then ended up with a significantly limited turning radius. I imagine that with 6.25" backspace there is still a fair amount of contact against the inner fenders from time to time. I made a simple modification to roll the inside of the fender lip up on my normal steel fenders and was wondering if modifying the inside lip on the Anvil parts might also be in order. I bought fiberglass ones and I would like to stay away from any major cutting, and glass work, but may resort to pulling the everything out a little more.
I'm sure you will figure out a solution. It seems you always do!
