Very good thread. I've been shopping for a new vert band saw.My old sear's 14" wood unit, slowed down to cut steel is starting to show sign's of wear after 18year's of almost everyday service. I think the only reason it's held up this long is I don't have employee's and there is a sign on the front of it that says Do not use. That keep's all the loafer's from jamming it up.
