Mine has a fixed kickstand on one side. I'm thinking an aftermarket motorcycle stand might be the ticket.......if you need side support.
Hi Scott - No issues side-to-side for my saw because the head doesn't have the ability to pivot (as does yours when adjusting for angled cuts) which would move the center of mass, for sure. I can see how that would be a concern.

Hi Eric, they are from Magliner.

They do business on Ebay under username "handtrucksandcasters".

If you plug this into the ebay search window, the casters I bought will come up:

"Set 4 Swivel Plate Casters with 4" Maroon Polyurethane Wheels & 2 with Brakes"

Very good thread. I've been shopping for a new vert band saw.My old sear's 14" wood unit, slowed down to cut steel is starting to show sign's of wear after 18year's of almost everyday service. I think the only reason it's held up this long is I don't have employee's and there is a sign on the front of it that says Do not use. That keep's all the loafer's from jamming it up.

Scott I'm guessing you need something in this category?

On a side note, my first project with the new saw.

Butchered the support welds with the MIG due to multiple factors and rushing the project.

Pic of her as a child with her first puppy.

She likes the saw now.

Cute as hell Sieg! FTW!

Inside welds like that on the base -- take some special "knowledge" and skills that take time to acquire... like the feed rate -- so the wire can reach the area since you can't get the nozzle in there...

Maybe Scott will explain it to you.

To do it right since I'd never done a weld like that I needed to do a text piece.
First issue was inadequate ground, wire speed too slow, not enough hold-off, wire speed a little quick, rushing, etc.

I still don't have a good feel for wire speed on this machine.......acts very sensitive with a somewhat vague feeling input knob on the machine. 1-10 rheostat dial input that has little friction and 1/10th act they the make a difference........though probably not as much as my LOFT.
