Should be covered for the next few holidays and special events
So I probably should show what's in the box. Well, after much deliberation she decided on Forgeline GZ3's, gloss gunmetal centers and polished step-lip hoops. Ended up with 18x9.5's and 18x11's. Currently a 265/315 combo, but it sure looks like a 275 will go up front no sweat.
We couldn't be happier with how they transformed the car. The finish goes so good with the paint color(s).
There has been lots of other updates that haven't been posted yet, more about those after some pics of the wheels. Had to roll it outside in the daylight. Note: ride height is close, but not set and no alignment yet. The rear has like 2" of toe and 3+ degrees of negative camber...

As far as other updates, not nearly as exciting as new rollers!, we did get the motor started about two weeks ago. Fired right up, ran pretty good right out of the gate without setting timing or messing with the Holley Ultra HP at all. Sounds pretty good too. We still have several issues to work thru on the front accessories, get the radiator in, wire the electric fans, finish the brake system, install the column and seats. Few loose ends underneath too.
Got a set of Ridetech HQ single adjustable front coilovers and smooth bodies for the rear. Need to mod the front lower control arms to drop the lower mount. Due to limited clearance through the frames, the upper stud mount needs to be extended to push the coilover down, therefore the lower mount needs to be moved down as well. Aftermarket arms are in our future, but for now we'll leave the stock (modified) stuff in there.
Can't wait to go for a cruise in it.
