I believe that you are correct. Not 100% sure about that! but I think I read that with a gen 4 setup, the TAC module is not required. I was in the middle of researching all of that stuff, when I came across a stupid good deal on a new a Mast M90 setup, so I removed all of my GM electronics, and sold it all.
