My suggestion would be to use a 2-3' 3/4" hose from compressor to wall and run from there with your copper.

I ran my hard lines near the ceiling and my hydraulic hoses run mostly vertical. Condensate collects back at automatic tank drain and rarely reaches a drip leg. I can also move some of the compressors around a little bit for servicing, wall finishing / painting etc... And not have to disturb my airlines or take compressor offline.
